PIM Shield Threaded Rod Adapter

PIM Shield Threaded Rod Adapter Kits were developed to provide a low PIM method to secure Cable Support Blocks to galvanized steel mounts designed for snap-in style cable hangers. Threaded Rod Adapters allow 3/8” galvanized threaded hardware to be installed in ¾” diameter galvanized steel mounting holes.

Specifications

• Mounting hole diameter: 0.70-inch to 0.76-inch
• Mounting bar thickness: 0.10-inch minimum
• System PIM performance (when tested at next higher assembly): IM3 < -100 dBm when tested in accordance with IEC 62037-8, near field test, 2x 20W test tones,
  while subjected to dynamic stimulus. To achieve specified PIM performance, torque hardware to
  10 FT-LB (ConcealFab tool 900053).
• Material: Galvanized steel
• Operating temperature: -40°C to +70°C
• Threads: 3/8-16 UNC-1B

Mounting:

• Install adapter into galvanized steel snap-in cable hanger hole and secure with galvanized steel
  threaded hardware (sold separately). The adapter has been undersized to account for galvaniza-
  tion build-up.
